ABOUT ME
I'm a writer, editor, blogger and social media/PR manager with a love for fashion, beauty, decorating, interior design, food, travel and planning anything. Born in North Carolina, I'm a Tarheel to the core, but I've also studied in Dublin, Ireland, and lived in Philadelphia and the wonderful New York City.
After graduating from the UNC-Chapel Hill in May 2011, I made the move to NYC, where I worked as associate editor at a pair of fashion-industry trade publications, Footwear Plus and Earnshaw's Magazines. I then returned to NC, where I served as associate editor of QSR magazine, a trade publication for the limited-service restaurant industry.
WHAT I'VE DONE
In October 2013, I started a freelance career as a fashion and beauty writer for websites like Bustle.com, eHow Style, Mom.Me and Footnotes, the Famous Footwear blog. I also manage PR and social media for Aesthetyx Collection and Mala and Mantra, a pair of Southern California–based fashion brands. Life in Classics, a classic lifestyle blog launched in 2013, is my ultimate passion project.
